HNJ KIDS - First Communion (NOW CLOSED)
This program is for children in grades 2nd through 8th grade who need to prepare to receive the sacrament of Baptism and/or First Communion.
At Holy Name of Jesus, we are honored to walk with your child as they prepare to receive the beautiful Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Our HNJ Kids First Communion Program is designed to help children grow in faith, understanding, and love for Jesus—no matter where they are on their spiritual journey.
Using a blend of two exceptional curriculums—BLESSED by Dynamic Catholic and RECEIVED by Ascension Press—we offer an engaging, age-appropriate pathway for students in 2nd through 8th grade.
Class is held on Sundays from 10:00AM - 11:30AM in the School Building.

BLESSED (2nd-3rd grade) brings the faith to life with joyful animated videos, stories from scripture, and class activities that help children understand the God's love for them and the sacrament they are preparing for, in a fun and relatable way.

RECEIVED (4th - 8th garde) deepens that foundation with a beautiful series of videos that follow a family through their sacramental journey and every day life situations, focus on Scripture, and practical guidance rooted in the richness of our Catholic tradition.
Together, these programs provide a solid, inspiring preparation experience that helps children not only learn their faith but encounter it personally.
Throughout the year, your child will:

HNJ YTH - Confirmation (NOW CLOSED)
HNJ YTH Confirmation is a dynamic, discipleship-centered program that prepares teens to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation with understanding, confidence, and a genuine desire to follow Christ. Designed for high school students in Grades 9–12, our program blends solid Catholic teaching with real-life conversations, prayer, service, and community-building experiences that speak directly to today’s young people.
Class is held on Sundays from 12:00PM - 1:30PM in Trinity Center.
We use Decision Point by Dynamic Catholic as our foundational curriculum. This engaging, teen-friendly program invites students to reflect deeply on who they are, the choices they make, and the life God is calling them to live. With inspiring videos, honest discussions, and practical tools, Decision Point helps teens explore their faith in a personal and meaningful way.
Throughout the year, teens will:
